Nigerian Pidgin occurs as idiom of English spoken as a rather lingua franca across Nigeria that is referred to simply when "Pidgin", "Broken English" or even "Brokan". These are non the creole since there are no "native" speakers, although youngsters clean see it early. These are as well technically non the pidgin since it is in the main spoken locally. Its substrate is English with the sprinkling of Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo.
